Twisted - Core Game Contest

Back in 2021 I participated in Core Game Creator Challenge and won 1st prize. All assets came with Core Engine, I was only responsible for level design and scripting. The game itself is kind of a clone of Knight Lore, you have to traverse a dungeon, collect items and bring them to The Cauldron in certain order. It is not a direct clone ofc, I had to make some adjustments for third person view and to keep the scope manageable. Its unreasonably hard for a platformer, but to my defense I had only month to make it and I never seen Core or Lua before that. %) Handling client-server problems and debugging them was especially hard. Had to scrap few cool things :(

Experimented with making items for pickups. Each of these models is comprised of several meshes, by the end of it, editing was hard because of lag :(

This was a chore. There is no way to deform meshes, So I had to make a section and then manually rotate it while watching for gaps between sections.

Sewer section. This screenshot doesn't do it justice, but I was especially proud of this area, it featured some M.C. Escher style architecture, vertical swimming, and moving platform with skulls :)
